Nowadays, a smartphone with dual-sim card is a kind of trend and seems to be popular. One of HTC device that comes with dual SIM card using microSIM with dual stand-by is HTC Desire 700. To be noticed, the SIM 1 (first SIM) on Desire 700 supports both HSDPA 3G and 3.5G and GSM network, but for SIM 2, it only supports GSM network.
HTC Desire 700 comes with large 5.0 inches capacitive display touchscreen with 540 x 960 pixels resolution (known also as qHD resolution). It has 16M colors with 220 ppi for its pixel density. The 5″ touchscreen display support multi-touch input methods. It weighs 149 grams (150 grams) and has 145.5 mm x 72mm x 10.3mm dimension size. The most important part before you can use the HTC Desire 700 for your regular communication data such as phone call, SMS, MMS or even surfing to the world wide web is that you know how to insert the micro SIM of your mobile provider onto this device.
The SIM slot on HTC Desire 700 locates on the inside of back side that covered with rear casing. You need to remove and open the rear casing in order to get access to the SIM slot and inserting your micro SIM card. To open the rear casing, make sure that the Desire 700 facing downwards, then from the bottom side there is a small opening gap. Use this gap as starting point. With your fingertip (for finger or thumb) lift the cover up until the rear cover detaches. Then you can easily remove the back cover (pictured).
After you’re able to open the cover of Desire 700, you can see the SIM slots on the right and left of rear camera (pictured). The SIM 1 can be used for both 3G and GSM (WCDMA/GSM) and SIM 2 on the right only for GSM (for SMS, MMS and Phone call only). With gold-contact of the SIM facing downwards and the cut-edge corner on the front slide both of the SIM to their slots until it perfectly inserted.
As for the memory slot, it locates directly under (below) the rear camera. Make sure microSD gold-contacts facing downwards then you can push the microSD card onto the slot. That’s all.

HTC Desire 700 has dual camera. The 8 Megapixel Camera acts as main camera embedded on the rear side along with LED Flash and also the secondary camera as front facing camera with 2.1 Megapixel. Before you decided to download the User Manual of HTC Desire 700 dual SIM, let me give you a brief tutorial on how to do Hard Reset on this device in case you had trouble with your phone that you can’t handle it manually (device frozen, touchscreen not reponding, etc).
