In US, Motorola Photon 4G MB855 developed specially for Sprint Carrier (Data Network Provider). It currently support “what we call” dual data networks. You can use it with CDMA and also GSM Data Networks Technology. For CDMA it supports CDMA EVDO Rev.A up to 3.1 Mbps and supports HSDPA/HSUPA

Touch Bar / Candy Bar / Touch Tablet form factor is the design of Motorola Photon 4G MB855. It uses 4.3 inches diameter of TFT Capacitive Touchscreen and has 540 x 960 pixels Resolution. Without amiss, the Proximity sensor, Accelerometer Sensor also attached within the Phone to support for Auto turn off screen / lock and Auto Rotate Orientation for the Display 16M Colors. It supports multi-touch input method. The screen also polished and finished with gorilla glass display for anti scratching material, and has dual anti reflective display for a better view / use.

For the Camera, it has dual camera on the rear and front facing panel of Motorola Photon body. For the main camera for video recording / capturing photo, which placed on the back side of the phone, it uses 8 Megapixel Camera. This 8M Camera also accompanied by Geo tagging, face detection, image stabilizer, Dual LED Falsh, Auto focus, Digital Zoom and can create HD video up to 720p@30fps. For the Video Calling, it uses VGA Camera in the front side. Of course the Photon also installed and ready to use the “Image Editing Tools” for crop, rotate the picture/ image and also others advanced settings.

Beside the 4G Sprint connectivity, Bluetooth with A2DP plus EDR, Wi-Fi WLAN IEEE 802.11 b/g/n type, and USB 2.0 (microUSB and micro HDMI) also available.       im getting a sprint red dot on my tv . I heard if I reboot system this will resolve the issue… any ideas what could be wrong

      Buggy radio set. It does not remember chosen settings. “Screen Timeout”, “Display Brightness”, “Wireless Network/Mobile networks/Network Mode and Roaming Guard and Allow GSM Data” settings, probably some more setting are not saved.
      After device re-start: It does not remember last Wi-Fi settings and Network Mode. If there is no Open Wi-Fi after restart Wi-Fi module is not capable to work (“Error” if you try to start it).
      It is not capable to use WAP2 cripted Wi-Fi network.

      A new icon appears next to the 4g icon that looks like the old receiver hand set with 5 square dots under the receiver with a – long line under the dots, best I can tell ya

      Worst phone with no company support.
      my phone fell down and now it does not boot up
      only charger shows charging with ridiculous versions
      like first it shows a question mark and says battery is invalid
      then it shows battery is 5% only
      and then after a few minutes it shows battery is 100%
      can somebody please help me on this issue??
