Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 GT-P5220 User Manual: Install SIM Card, Insert Memory Card, Charging Battery Resume
On the upper side of the Samsung GT-P5220 where the front camera spot in, the SIM card slot can be found in this side. You need to open the cover of the slot from the gap latch provided on the cover. Use your fingernail to open the slot.
Facing up the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1’s screen, then take your micro-SIM card of your mobile provider. With gold-metal contacts facing downwards, with the cut-edge on the front, insert and push the SIM card to its slot until it locks (reach the end of the slot). To remove the SIM card from it slot, you need to unlock and disengage the SIM card by pushing it against the slot. The card will pop out and then you can easily draw it out. Remember to do this insert and remove SIM card when you had already turned off the device.
To insert the microSD memory card, you just need to do the exact step like the way you insert the SIM card. Open the cover of Memory card slot (provide the same side of SIM slot), then with gold-colored metal facing downward, and the card aligns properly with the slot (pictured), push the card into the slot until it locks. Push it once more time against the slot will make the card disengages and you can remove the Memory card from its slot.
