The curve on the body of the arc S make this Smartphone seem sexy and sleek although it seem just a copy version of Sony Ericsson Xperia arc or at least the second Generation (2G) of Xperia arc. We can say it as Sony Ericsson Xperia arc 2 ( arc II). Using touch tablet / touch bar form factor and equipped with 4.2 inches diagonal LED backlit LCD Capacitive Touchscreen with Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine for clear and sharp colors and image, would be one of the best features in arc S, especially if you are wanna use it to watch a Video or look at your beautiful image from your captured photo memory. The Engine. Sony Ericsson Xperia arc S runs using Android OS (therefore we can categorized as Android Smarphone) and by default it uses Android Gingerbread for version 2.3.4. Along with Gingerbread, the 1.4GHz CPU Processor from Scorpion processor with Graphic Processing Unit of Adreno 205 and Qualcomm MSM8255T Snapdragon chipset would make this arc S one of best Smartphone in the matter of processing applications along with 1GB ROM and 512MB RAM (you don’t need to worry about running HD Video or use multi tasking feature, although it still “lose” to Galaxy S II that has dual core 1.2Hz and 1GB RAM)

Unfortunately, looking at the phone overview layout on User Manual, we could say that this arc S did not have front camera (front facing camera for Video Calling).

Another features that you can enjoy in Sony Ericsson Xperia arc S are 3D Games, YouTube, FM Radio with RDS, Music Player for MP3, AAC/eAAC+, WMA, WAV, xLOUD Experience, PlayNow, Video Player for MP4, H.263, H.264, WMV, HDMI port, and more. As and Android Smarphone, Android Market, Google Search, GTalk, Gmail, Google Maps, are also preloaded in the phone. Facebook and Twitter Integration also included.

The Connectivity. Beside the 3G HSDPA that support for HSDPA 14.4 Mbps and HSUPA 5.8 Mbps (GPRS and EDGE also support), the Wi-Fi for 802.11 b/g/n type can be used to make a Data Connection such as you wanna connect to the Internet. The SE Arc S also can be used as Wi-Fi Hotspot (on working with HSDPA / HSUPA), DLNA support, Bluetooth A2DP with EDR for version 2.1, and has USB on the go support for microUSB version 2.0.

For the Battery, it uses Li-Po 1500mAh, that claimed can be use up to 7 and half hours for 3G data and up to 37 in playing music only with about 460 hours for Standby mode.
