Samsung released this Galaxy Note 8.0 (8 inches display) as a challenger face to face with iPad mini by Apple. Let’s see whether this device can compete with it, especially this device has special pen, named as S-Pen that the iPad mini doesn’t have. The 8″ display is equipped with TFT capacitive touchscreen that also has 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. It has 16M colors and 189 ppi pixel density.

FYI, this Galaxy Note 8.0 GT-N5110 is the Wi-Fi only version, which means the Note 8 didn’t support GSM or CDMA data network, therefor you can’t see any SIM card slot on this device. This phone announced on the middle of February 2013 and already available on the US market at the end of April 2013. Just wait for a while if in your region this Note 8 didn’t yet available.
