The Number of 723 name of Samsung Wave 723 derived from its Series: GT-S7230E. By removing 0E and also S letter, the 723 remain exactly the same as this Smartphone dubbed name. It not important on knowing this issue though but sometime you may wanna ask why and you can figure out the answer lies on it’s Series name. If you ask us, why it been named with Wave just like Samsung Wave GT S8500 or Samsung Wave II GT-S8530? It might due to this phone are using the same Operating System: the Bada OS by Samsung. And for Wave 723 uses Bada version 1.1.
The Design of Wave 723 comes with Touch Bar / Candy Bar form factor. Touch Bar design means that this device equipped with only Touchscreen User Interface and uses Virtual onscreen Qwerty Keyboard as Text Input or write a message. The Display Screen that comes with 3.2 inches Diameter armored with TFT Capacitive Touchscreen and has 256K colors and 240 x 400 pixels Resolution. Even though it has Accelerometer Sensor for Auto Rotate, this Wave 723 is not installed with Proximity Sensor to turn the screen off automatically whenever it being used during Calling mode. Another touchscreen feature are the TouchWiz UI 3.0 and supports Multi Touch.
Actually, we found at least three 3 available colors body casing for this Samsung Wave 723 GT-S7230E (you can see all the 3 of them in 2 images above and 2 images of Wave 723 screen shot under “Specifications” Tab), though in various region, the colors only available for two or one single colors. For simple the 3 colors we named as Black-Grey Color / titan gray, Black Colors, and White Colors / cream white (sometime also know as La Fleur edition, due to it has a removable plastic flip cover casing with leather texture style for the screen — see images).
