how to get rid of unwanted apps/ widgets like stocks and city id??
Rachel says
Just touch and hold the item and you can drag it to the bottom right where it says “Remove.”
KC says
I would recommend you download the Timeriffic app from the android market. This app is free and will allow you to create a schedule where the phone settings (ringer, volume, Wifi, GPS, vibrate) will change according to the schedule you created. I personally have 4 settings one for while at work, one for after work, one for nights and another for weekends.
The only other app would be Locale it costs I believe $10 but will change your phone settings based off your saved location. So if you save your work location it will know your at work and go to silent. When you leave work for lunch it will go back to ringing.
Good luck

My Droid Incredible 2 battery was close to dying, so I turned it off. I did not charge the battery out of fear that charging it over night would be too long to charge it. This morning, I tried turning the Droid on and it didn’t turn on–usually even when it has very low battery it turns on then turns off. Then I tried charging it and there was not indication that the phone was charging at all. Don’t know what is going on. Please help!
Thank you very much!
joe keaton says
I just came across nine voicemails I didn’t know I had. Some may have come while the phone was turned off but I know that most came when the phone was on yet I was never notified that I had voicemails. Is there a way to set it so I’ll know when I have a voicemail?
Michelle says
There should be a little “cassette” icon up in the notifications bar when you have new voicemail. You hold your finger on it then drag it down and you’ll see how many voicemails you have.
kenny says

Wendy says
This is a known issue with HTC since the GB update, f you do a search you”ll see there are alot having the same issue.
I just found this on the VerizonWireless Forum page:
“The only fix is a factory reset but the problem will come back, I myself have had to reset 3 times already and I’ve given up and installed a different alarm app from the market.
HTC has commented that a fix will be in the works, but will not say as to when it will be pushed out. I went to a VZW store and they had no clue as to what is going on.”
Crap.

Just received an Incredible 2 as a replacement. I know this phone is a global phone. Should the global be removed if I am not leaving the United States?
Peter says
Yes, have it turned off or you’ll be charged around $4 per month. If you’re leaving the country you simply call and have them turn it on. When you shut it off make sure you confirm, I did but didn’t confirm and I found out 8 months later.
