HTC One max is a 5.9 inches touch-bar smartphone (display) runs on Android Jelly Bean OS that has powerful non-removable Lithium-polymer battery capacity at 3300mAh. This smartphone is equipped with Fingerprint scan protection (fingerprint sensor installed) and has dual stereo speakers with built-in amplifier for bass-sound experience. Anyone who love to hear audio music, should try to have this HTC One max.
The 5.9″ display of HTC One max uses Super LCD3 capacitive touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 as its protection. The display has 16M colors depth with Full HD 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. It’s about 373 ppi for the pixel density. The One max touchscreen support multi-touch input method up to 10 fingers (more) and along with Android 4.3, the One max is installed with HTC Sense 5.5 for its User Interface.
HTC One max User Guide: Open Cover, Install micro SIM & Memory Card, Open Cover Resume
In order to get an access to SIM slot and memory card slot, you must know how to open / remove the back cover casing of HTC One max. If you facing down the screen of the device and hold the One maxx with your left hand, and make sure the rear UltraPixel camera on the upper side, you’ll find a cover lock on the right side of the One max. See the figure below to make sure where is the location of the cover lock.
Slide the cover lock down, then you can easily lift the back cover from the right side and you’ll find the microSIM slot just below the rear camera, and the memory slot on the right of the camera. See the User Guide of HTC One max on page 10.
To insert the microSIM card on HTC One max, you just need to make sure that the metal-gold-contacts of the SIM facing downwards, cut-corner edges face to face with the slot then push the micro SIM to the slot until it clicks (indicator of the SIM is placed properly). You can do the same steps on inserting the microSD card to its slot. Make sure the gold-contacts facing downs, the microSD card aligns properly with the memory slot then push the card until it reaches the end of the slot. (Available on page 13 of the UG of One max).
After you done on inserting the SIM and Memory, you need to replace the back cover back on HTC One max. Alight the left cover with the left side of the One max body, the from up > right > down, press the cover sides until there is no gaps between cover and the body of the device. Finally, slide the cover lock up to make sure the cover properly attached and locked. Read this tutorial on page 11 and page 12 of the UG of One max.
on page 147 of the Manual (UG) of HTC One max, you can find the tutorial how to do Master Reset (known also as Hard Reset / Factory Reset). These are the steps you must follow to do Hard Reset using hardware combination buttons:
Turn Off the HTC One max > Press and Hold Volume Down; immediately follow up to press and hold the Power button > Hold both buttons until 3 Android images shown up; then release them all > Select Factory Reset with Volume down > Confirm with Power button > Wait till the progress of Factory Reset is done.

HTC One max User Guide Specifications
For the hardware, HTC One max has quad-core 1.7GHz Krait 300 processor. For the Chipset, the One max uses Qualcomm APQ8064 Snapdragon 600 and for the GPU, the Adreno 320 is installed on the device. The internal memory on this One max has two variations: 16GB and 32GB. You don’t need to worry on getting the 16GB version if you want to store video, document, photos etc. Even if the 16GB is not enough, you can expand up to 64GB with microSD card.
For China market, the HTC One max is available with dual-SIM card (uses the micro SIM type). In US, the HTC One Max for CDMA is available wiith Verizon and Sprint Carriers. It uses CDMA 800 / 1900 Mhz. Although it’s also support 3G HSDPA and also 4G LTE. For the EMEA (Europe, the Middle Ease and Africa) it works under HSDPA 900 / 1900 / 2100 MHz, for Asia works under HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100 Mhz, for Sprint works on HSDPA 900 / 2100 Mhz. Speciall for 4G LTE, the Verizon version uses LTE 700 / 1700 / 2100 Mhz, Asia version uses LTE 900 / 1800 /2100 /2600 Mhz, and EMEA uses LTE 800 / 900 / 1800 /2600 Mhz.
The others connectivity features supported by this HTC One max are Wi-Fi with IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Portable Hotspot, DLNA, Bluetooth v4.0, NFC, Infrared port, microUSB v2.0 (MHL). The 4G LTE can be used up to 100Mbps DL / 50Mbps UL.
Along with fingerprint sensor, this HTC One max is also equipped with Proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer sensor, and Gyro sensor. HTC One max is only available in Silver color.
The One max has dual-camera. The main is on the rear side equipped with 4 Megapixel camera with UltraPixel technology with BSI sensor, at 2.0 2.0 µm pixel sensor and uses Sensor size 1/3″ along with LED Flash. This Ultrapixel nano camera also able to record HD 1080@30fps video recording, geo-tagging, face detection and smile detection, autofocus adn touch focus, and accompanied by front facing camera 2.1MP.
