Even though this fact, still here is one of Smartphone which recently released using Windows Phone 7.5 OS from HTC company. It has a name HTC Radar aka HTC Radar 4G. It also known as HTC Omega.
As usual, we are here to bring you the User Guide and Quick Start Guide of HTC Radar with additional information regarding with Tech Specs and its features.
HTC Radar comes with 3.8 inches diagonal diameter display with Super LCD (S-LCD) capacitive touchscreen at 16M colors and completed by using scratch-resistant material from Gorilla Glass display. It uses 480 x 800 pixels resolutions and has dimension size for 120.5mm x 61.5mm x 10.9mm ( aproximately about 4.74 inches x 2.42 inches x 0.43 inches), weighing at 127 grams aka 4.83 ounces (along with the battery in).
Without amiss, accelerometer sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope sensor, ambient light sensor, multi touch input method also ready to complete the Touchscreen display. Accelero for auto orientation rotation, proximity is the ways you can save the power battery while in call via auto turn off the screen while near the ears, gyroscope for balance and gravity detector and the ambient light to automatically adjust the brightness of the screen according to the “darkness” environment.

Here are the step that you could follow in order to be able to perform Factory Reset on HTC Radar (also known as Hard Reset/ Master Reset): Tap Back (arrow) > Tap settings > About > Tab reset your phone > Tab yes. Remember by performing factory data reset all the applications and data and settings of HTC radar would be back just like the first time you have it. Therefore be wise and do not take it so lightly on doing this action.
Another was using phone buttons combinations (hardware ways) on performing master reset: Turn of the phone > press and hold Volume up and volume buttons > press and hold power button > screen appears > release the button > select using volume down button to factory reset > confirm it with power button > follow the rest > done. On page 85 you can find the tutorial how you can connecting a bluetooth to others bluetooth device such as wireless stereo headset via A2DP bluetooth profile, you can also learn how to pairing it, how to disconnect it and more. If you wanna secure you SIM card and your phone, you can also learn how to use the PIN for your SIM card or using the phone with a password for better protection. See on page 91 under “Security” Chapter.

HTC Radar Windows Phone 7.5 OS Tech Specs
Radar embedded with 5 Megapixel camera for the rear side camera and VGA camera for the front facing camera. The VGA cam, should be enough to supports the Video Calling activities such as for hangout on google plus or Qik for Video Call or Skype. Along with the LED Flash light, the 5MP camera (with F2.2 lens)capable to create HD Video up to 720p@30fps and picture photos up to 2560 x 1920 pixels resolution. It has Auto focus, geo-tagging, digital zoom and BSI sensor to provides a better captured image for low light condition .
Equipped with Windows Phone 7.5 Operating system from microsoft which usually known as Windows Phone Manga, the HTC Radar also powered with 1GHz scorpion processor, with MSM8255 Snapdragon chipset from Qualcomm and uses Adreno 205 205 GPU. What about the memory? Radar also has built in 8GB internal storage memory with 512MB RAM. There is no microSD card slot for expandable external storage. Therefore the only memory you’ll have is the 8GB (total storage, but for user storage it only has up to 6.54GB – depend on the settings and software applications installed in the Radar.
Supports for GPRS, EDGE, and also can be used up to 14.4Mbps for the HSDPA and 5.76Mbps for the HSUPA, the Radar uses WCDMA / HSPA 3G networks frequency for 900/2100Mhz and quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE for 850/ 900/ 1800/1900 Mhz. It powered up with rechargeable lithium ion battery 1520 mAh (this claimed can be used up to 600minutes for talktime in GSM networks, and 485 minutes for WCDAM). Bluetooth version 2.1, Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b/g/n and capable for tethering via microUSB v2.0 and DLNA. One you had to know, the Radar do not support for Mobile hotspot.
One of the best software for Windows Phone, in our point a view is the installed Zune Player inside the Manga. Zune is one of the best Music and Video Player with clear and quite smooth processing. for the Radar, the Zune capable to player m4a, mp3, m4b, wma playback formats and 3gp, 3g2, mp4, m4v, mbr, wmv for video playback.

HTC Radar Manual User Guide 4G T-Mobile Quick Start Guide PDF Download
Due to the HTC radar didn’t support for microSD card slot, and you’ll never find on the User Guide how you can insert the microSD card to its card slot compartment. We also noticed that there is no tutorial how you can insert the battery or remove it (assemble). We unsure whether the battery on the HTC Radar is a kind of unreplaceable batter / unremovable battery or not. Although as you can see at the picture below, you can find the help guidance on how you can open the back cover casing properly and the how can insert and install the SIM card. As it shown also on the PDF User Guide of Radar at page 9 to page 12 (including how to charge the battery).
We provided three type of User Guide and Quick Start Guide of HTC Radar (total 6 PDF Manual); English, French and Spanish language version. Almost forget, whatever you colors body of HTC Radar, whether it active white or metal silver, the Manual UG and QSG are alike.
