Extra Large aka XL is sometime refer to the size that with a larger measurement in width and height. Usually it been used in clothes or pant. Our guess come to a conclusion that its would be refer the display screen diagonal size of the device in comparison to the previous HTC Sensation, the HTC Sensation XE. Yup, HTC Sensation XE comes with “only” 4.3″ display screen (the same size like what it own by Samsung Galaxy S II GT I9100), but for Sensation XL, the touchscreen display uses a little bit wider, it attached with 4.7 inches (measured diagonally). And for the design, it almost the same, uses touch bar form factor with edges rounded corner (see the image below for clear view about Sensation XL design).
The 4.7 inches (about 119mm) display screen uses the 480 x 800 pixels resolution with manufactured using Super LCD Capacitive Touchscreen at 16M colors. It installed with the latest User Interface by HTC, the HTC Sense UI version 3.5. Touch sensitive controls, multi-touch input method also supported alongside accelerometer sensor for Auto orientation rotation portrait and landscape screen display, and proximity sensor for auto turn of the display. Weighing on 162.5 grams / 5.73 ounce (with battery), and 132.5 mm x 70.7 mm x 9.9 mm for the dimension size (about 5.22 inches x 2.78 inches x 0.39 inches) This phone also rumored to be named as HTC Runnymede.

Or you can also do by press combination hardware buttons: Turn off your phone > remove battery, insert it back again > Press and hold Volume Down, then press Power button > Screen arise > release volume down > select factory reset using Volume down > confirm via Power button > Done

HTC Sensation XL Technical Specifications
HTC Sensation XL powered with Android Gingerbread v2.3 which also runs using 1.5GHz Processor speed Scorpion CPU Qualcomm MSM8255 chipset with Adreno 205 for Graphic Processing (GPU). For the memory RAM, it has capacity 768MB and 16GB for internal storage memory, on remaining data storage up to 12.64GB (depend on settings and applications). There is no slot card for expandable microSD memory. Currently this Sensation XL isn’t available yet in US Market, but already available in UK or Europe or Asia in which it works under GSM Technology support for HSDPA 14.4Mbps and HSUPA 5.76Mbps. GPRS, EDGE data networks also supported.
Officially the HTC Sensation XL has a long additional name: HTC Sensation XL with Beats Audio. The Beats Audio for HTC Sensation XL were expressed through the Beats Audio sound enhancement and also the Beats headset, just like the image that you can see above.
Bluetooth version 3.0 with A2DP for wireless stereo headset would be very good enough for anyone who want to listen their favorite music (supports MP3, OGG, WAV, WMA, M4A) via Sensation XL with Beats Audio. Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 b/g/n type would be suitable for fast internet connections on usage under condition that the phone are on reachable access point hotspot. Sometime a huge applications need this Wi-Fi access instead of the Data Networks connections to be able to download from Android Market. USB for high data transfer available in version 2.0 microUSB type.
The 8Megapixel Camera attached in the rear side along with dual LED Flash light is equipped also with BSI Sensor in order to achieve a better quality image capture while in poor low light environment. This 8MP Camera also capable to record 720p HD Video (Camcorder). Of course the geo tagging using GPS on image or video, face detection, touch focus, HDR capture, auto upload, auto focus also another features which make this 8MP camera seems to be done completed. For Video Calling there is available 1.3MP camera in front panel of the phone.
FM Radio, Google Talk, Google Maps, YouTube are some of applications available to be run under Android Platform OS on this phone (preloaded). The battery uses Li-ion with capacity 1600 mAh.

Why isn’t available the tutorial to insert microSD card on this HTC Sensation XL? This because the Sensation XL actually doesn’t have a microSD card slot. But the getting started tutorial such as how to insert and install the SIM card, remove the back cover casing, assemble the battery or remove it, charging the battery, it all available from page 10 to page 14 which including how you can power on / turn on the smartphone for the first time.
Here are the User Manual and the Quick Start Guide. A little resume about the quick start guide. It only a short tutorial for learning the basic functions such as getting started or use basic applications. Not recommended if you want to learn deeper about your Sensation XL with beats Audio.
