As long as I know, the IdeaTab S6000 is the only 10.1 inches tablet that currently runs on Android Jelly Bean OS by Lenovo and the only one which have been launched for 2013. The 10.1″ display comes with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution and uses IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. Although the IdeaTab S6000 is not built for voice communication, SMS or MMS, but there is a version that support for data network technology by carrier. Which means, it supports SIM card.
There are two version of IdeaTab 10.1″ according the internal memory capacity. The two of them are IdeaTab S6000 with 16GB internal memory, and IdeaTab S6000L installed with 32GB built-in memory. The display supports multi-touch input method but only equipped with 256K colors depth with about 149 ppi for its pixel density.

Although not all version of IdeaTab S6000 and S6000L has SIM card option, it still worthy to get to know how you can inserting the microSD memory card or removing the SIM card from the device. The picture that we gave you below is the two version of IdeaTab S6000/S6000L with SIM and microSD card support, and also the one that only support for microSD card (Wi-Fi Only).
To insert the SIM card and microSD card, all you need to do just to detach the slot cover of the IdeaTab S6000, then you’ll see the two slot inside. If you see only one slot, that means your IdeaTab is Wi-Fi only version. The SIM location is on the left side, the Memory Slot location on the right. Just make sure that both SIM and microSD gold-colored contact facing upward the push the Card into its slot until it locked.
You can also easily remove the SIM or microSD card by press the card again the slot to unlocked and whenever the card pop out, you can easily pull the card out from its slot. Remember to always turn off the phone before you doing it. Removing the microSD card also need an unmount action (Go to Settings > Storage > SD Card > Unmount SD Card) to be done before you safely able to remove the memory card from IdeaTab S6000L.

Lenovo IdeaTab S6000/ S6000L Specifications
Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 is designed with touch-bar form factor and the 10.1-inch display attached on the body of the device that has 260 mm x 180 mm x 8.9mm dimension size. It’s about 10.2″ x 7.1″ x 0.3″ in inches. The device weighs about 1.24lbs or about 563 grams or about 19.9 ounces.
IdeaTab S6000 and S6000L runs on Jelly Bean Android 4.2 Operating System. It’s also installed with quad-core 1.2GHz processor Cortex-A7, MTK 8125 1MB 533MHz chipset with integrated GPU. The RAM uses LPDDR2 800MHz with 1GB capacity.
For the time-usage of the IdeaTab S6000, under Wi-Fi network you can use the device to surf on the internet or browser website for almost 9 hours before you need to recharge the battery. The tablet has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n that capable to be used as Wi-Fi portable hotspot, Bluetoot version 4.0, 1 micro HDMI, micro USB v2.0 and also support GSM network with 3G and 2G technology. You can also expand the 16GB eMMC for S6000 or 32GB eMMC for S6000L internal storage with microSD card for up to 64GB.
The tablet has dual camera. The 5 megapixel on the rear side with LED Flash, but it’s autofocus camera and capable for video recording. This 5MP camera only provided for S600L model. You’ll not be able to see this 5MP camera on S6000 model. This also one of difference between Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 and S6000L.
The 0.3Megapixel camera for front facing camera. Usually for video calling. The 10.1″ touchscreen support multi-touch input with up to 10 touch finger, and the tablet also support micro-HDMI connection.
