Although it’s a bit too late, Nokia finally decided to release its first tablet device named as Lumia 2530. The tablet comes with 10.1-inch diagonally display size with IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2 with 16M depth colors and Full HD resolution 1080 x 1920 pixels. It’s 218 pp for the pixel density. The Lumia 2520 also has ClearBlack display technology and supports multi-touch input (up to 10 fingers).

There are several type of Lumia 2520 depend on the regional carrier (supports micro-SIM). Special for global version, Lumia 2520 RX-113 is released series. It’s works under GSM networks, 2G, 3G, and also 4G LTE. For GSM it works on 850 / 900 / 1800 /1900 MHz; HSDPA works on 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 / 2100 MHz, and LTE with 800 / 1800 /2600 Mhz frequencies.

To eject the card holder from Luma 2520 body, you need an SIM card door key or eject tools (such as paperclip for substituted). Push the key onto the holder until you notice that the holder is pop out and unlocked. Then you can draw that holder out / pull out from the body of the device. You’ll see the two card holder in one holder: The left one for Memory card, the right one for SIM card.

Two other version of Nokia Lumia 2520 seem to be designed to work with two well-know US carrier. They are Lumia 2520 RX-114 for AT&T and Lumia 2520 RX-114v for Verizon Wireless. Both of them support same version for 2G GSM just like we mentioned above for RX-113, but for HSDPA both of them uses 850/ 900 / 1900 /2100 Mhz, and LTE 700 / 850 / 1700 / 1900 /2100 MHz for AT&T and; LTE 700 / 1700 /2100 MHz for Verizon.

The tablet that has 168 mm x 267 mm x 8.9 mm (H x W x D) weighs 615 grams. It runs on Microsoft Windows RT. On the inside, the Lumia 2520 is powered by quad-core processor with 2.2GHz speed Krait 400 GPU. Working with quad-core 2.2GHz processor are the Adreno 330 GPU (Graphic Processing Unit) and Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 chipset. Lumia 2520 is also installed with 32GB mass internal memory and 2GB RAM. If you want to add more storage, there is microSD card slot for up to 32GB ready.
The Lumia 2520 tablet is also attached with dual-camera so you can make video call of capture photo and video. The main camera attached on the rear has 6.7 Megapixel with auto focus but no Flash. It’s Carl Zeiss Optic with 1/3.4″ sensor size and f/1.9 aperture. You can record full HD video (1080p@30fps) with this phone. The front camera as secondary camera for video call and self portrait uses f/2.4 aperture with 2MP camera and able to be used up to 720p@30fps video recording.
Besides the Data network comes along with Mobile Carrier, there are some other connectivity features installed on Lumia 2520. Wi-Fi uses WLAN IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n, supports Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth with version 4.0, NFC, and USB with USB version 3.0. There is HDMI port supports.
You can use the tablet for up to 10 hours talktime. It’s can be done due to the 8000mAh battery built-in installed on the Lumia 2520, and yes, it’s non-removable type.
