Samsung Galaxy GT I7500 / I7500L User Manual & Specification for Bell Carrier

Actually we aren’t sure yet but it seems that this Samsung Galaxy GT I7500 or GT I7500L is the first Smartphone released by Samsung that used the Trademark name “Galaxy”. It officially been released on June 2009 (3 years ago) and been announced on April 2009. It is just like the newer Galaxy series that available at this time (June 2011), the Operating System of this device also powered with Android Platform. Although three years ago, this GT I7500L only run under Android 1.5 series aka Android Cupcake. In Canada, this Smartphone known as Samsung Galaxy I7500L and works together with Bell Carrier, in the others region, such as in Europe, this gadget known as Samsung Galaxy I7500 (without L).

The Galaxy supports GSM Technology and can be used for HSDPA and HSUPA 3G at 900 / 1700 /2100 Mhz frequency up to 7.2 Mbps for HSDPA and 5.76 Mbps for HSUPA. It works also for GMS, EDGE, GPRS at 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 Mhz. Wireless connectivity in this I7500 are the Bluetooth version 2.0 supports A2DP, and Wi-Fi WLAN IEEE 802.11 b/g. For High Data it uses microUSB v2.0.

This device available in two colors body, the black colors and also white colors (the picture that we shared above is the black one).

There is no specific instruction on the User Manual on how you can do the Master Reset aka Hard Reset. But it seems that this feature can be found under the settings applications list. To make it simple just follows this steps: Home > Applications List > Settings > SD card and phone storage > Factory Data Reset (page 70).

To use the Wi-Fi and also Bluetooth, you can find the simple (yes really quick and simple tutorial though) under the Tools chapter (learn how to works with mobile device’s tools and additional applications). On page 58 you can find how you can turn on the bluetooth and pairing it or allow or disallow others bluetooth device find you phone (dicoverable), on page 60 you can learn how to use the Wi-Fi to connect to the Internet under Hotspot access point area and else.

To set the alarm, including how to add new alarm, turn alarm on, sto the alarm, delete it, change the alarm clock you can find on page 61 of the Samsung Galaxy Manual. Samsung Galaxy GT I7500 comes with 3.2 inches diagonal diameter and uses AMOLED capacitive touchscreen in Touch Candy Bar form factor body design. The Display installed with Onscreen Virtual Qwerty Keyboard and has an Accelerometer Sensor for turn the display orientation automatically from Landscape to Portrait (vice versa) depend on how you handle the phone. It has 320 x 480 pixels Resolution with 16M colors.

Along with Android Cupcake, and Android Operating Sytemb version 1.5 by Google, the Galaxy GT I7500L also armored with 528MHz ARM 11 Processor (Speed), with Adreno 130 GPU (Graphic Processor) and has Qualcomm MSM7200 chipset. For the RAM it equipped with 128MB RAMand has 8GB internal storage memory which expandable by microSD Card external memory card up to 16GB (for GT I7500L Canada Bell Carrier, it supports up to 32GB microSD external memory storage Card). In some region, this phone also uses CDMA Technology with WCDMA 850 /1900 Mhz.

As an Android Gadget, the Galaxy GT I7500 also preloaded with Google Maps Application, YouTube, Google Talk, Picasa, Google Search, Google Mail, Android Market and also Google Calendar. Especially for Bluetooth Profile, here are some supported profiles t hat you can use in this device: OPP, HSP, HFP, AVRCP, A2DP, FTP, and BPP (Mobile Bluetooth Printing).

For the Camera, it uses 5 Megapixel Camera, with LED Flash and also has Geotagging ability (with GPS built-in). The Camera of course, can be used to create Video Recording and supports AutoFocus. There is no Video Call Camera aka front facing camera on this phone. For the battery it quite good enough by using 1500 mAh Li-Ion.

About Vidoe Player the Phone supports MP4, 3GP, and WMV formats and for Music Audio it playable for MP3, AAC, AAC+, MIDI and WMA. Mobile TV, Document Viewer, Java Games also included.
