What we like to discuss at this time for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 are consist of two difference version for this tablet. The one belong to AT&T Carrier that has a series name as SGH I957 which supports 4G LTE, and the later is Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 for Wi-Fi only; the GT P7310 series. If we like to compare between Galaxy Tab 8.9 SGH I957 and GT P7310, I would like to say that the I957 for AT&T had a bit better in the matter of technical specifications than P7310. Another difference performance between I957 and P7310 is the connectivity features that make the battery usage is a bit longer for I957 than P7310, although the battery capacity and type are the same–using 6100 mAh capcity with Li-Polymer battery. For the Operating systems, the Galaxy Tab 8.9 armored with Android 3.2, an Android Honeycomb OS by Google. And for the User Interface, the TouchWiz UI special for tablet is installed onto SGH I957 along with Samsung Hub, Social Hub, Swype technology and more. Almost forget, there is two optional internal storage for the SGT 8.9, 16 GB or 32GB, and for the RAM that works together with the Dual core 1.5 Hz CPU Processor has 1GB RAM. There is no additional memory storage that can be added in this tablet, due to there is no microSD card slot embedded in this device.
As you might already knew, the 8.9 number on the SGTab 8.9 is referring to the Display Touchscreen diagonal size on this Tablet form factor design.
