Samsung Wave II GT-S8530 User Manual (English, German, French)

In United State, it seems that this Samsung Wave II did not released as a part of Samsung Series. We couldn’t find any of US Carrier that brought this Wave II to the Market. It seems that this second generation of Samsung Wave (previously, the first Generation of this Wave series known as Samsung Wave GT-S8500. The II indicated of 2nd Generation aka 2G or at least the continuations of Wave), only available outside US regions or American’s continent, especially in Europe and also United Kingdom (UK). As a successor on Wave GT S8530, the Wave II also has Series name by GT-S8530. Thus, we can call this phone as Samsung Wave II GT-S8530.

There are only two difference thing between Wave and Wave II (at least as long as we knew). There are the Dimensions size of these Devices and the Touchscreen material. Of course the dimensions size would causes the Display and the weight of the Phone are to be differ. For Wave II GT-S8530, the Display Touchscreen that manufactured using Super Clear LCD Capacitive Touchscreen and has 3.7 inches Diagonal Diameter, and for Wave I GT S8500 equipped with Super AMOLED Capacitive Touchscreen at 3.3 inched Diameter Display (about 4 inches in difference).

Of course because the Size Diameter is differ, the weight and Dimension body are also differ. Wave II had 135grams in weight, with 123.9 x 59.8 x 11.8 mm in dimension size, on the contrary, Wave I had 118 grams, with 118 x 56 x 10.9 mm in dimension body size. Both of the has 480 x 800 pixels Resolution with 16K colors, furnished with scratch resistant from Gorilla Glass Display, and equipped with Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor (as usual for Auto Orientation Rotate between Landscape or Portrait, and Auto Turn off the screen in “calling mode”), using TouchWiz UI 3.0, supports Smart unlock and Handwriting Recognition plus Multi Touch input method.

You can find the solution when you phone suddenly responds so slowly or improperly, your friends cannot hear you voice while you calling him/her, you Wave II is hot to the touch and even if your device got froze (freeze) or had fatal error.

    to remove any apps
    go to main window > click on “edit” above right cornor (it will appear a “-” sign on the apps icon) > then click on that “-” sing
    your apps will be remove

    once in Master Reset, it would ask password before resetting proceed. what is the password? I tried 12345, and 0000. They didn’t work. I read that there is a code *2767*3855# and entered that in another attempt, but it said Unsupported format.

    My hard keys are not working. If I press menu button it just captures the screen then nothing happens. Is it fixable?
