Just a quick info: Sony Xperia P has some series name depend on regional / country and also data network carrier. IT called as Sony LT22 (general), Sony LT22i Nypon, or if in North America usually uses Sony LT22a. Although in some of the secs are difference between those two (three), but for the User Guide aka the Manual of Sony Xperia P, it’s all the same.
Sony Xperia P seems to be designed as high-end Smartphone. It uses LED backlit LCD Capacitive touchscreen for the display at 4.0 inches with 540 x 960 pixels. It about 275 pixels density. This is quite large actually, but if you compare to the latest Smartphone from other vendors such as HTC with HTC One X or even the newest Samsung Galaxy S3 which have 4.7″ and 4.8″, the Xperia P is not quite large enough.
The 4″ display also has scartch resistant glass protection and installed with Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine for better bright contrast view and completed with Sony WhiteMagic technology. For the UI it uses Timescape User Interface. The touch tablet form factor with 122 x 59.5 x 10.5 milimeter is chosen as the design of this Xperia P. Along with the 1305 mAH Lithium Ion battery capacity, this device has about 120 grams on weight measure.

Having a good smartphone without any option for external microSD card might be make you not satisfy with the internal storage. If you use the phone to make video recording too many times, it might the storage isn’t enough, especially for this Xperia P which only allow for 13GB. It not include with games, applications or any document that you been created or downloaded.
The solution for this issue can be save by transferring the data to your computer which has an enough space for the storage memory. To do this, read the tutorial how you can connect and transfer you phone to computer on page 119 with your USB cable connection. You should also need to install PC Companion on your PC. For windows user you can download the PC companion at Media Go to do that.
From your Home screen Tab Menu > Find and tab Settings > Go to Privacy > Factory data reset > Reset phone > Confirm > Erase everything. This is the tutorial in which you wanna perform Master / Hard / Factory Reset. Please use this reset if you phone are in “hazardous” problem that can’t be sloven. This reset would get your phone back to original settings and the data that you been created and added would be deleted. Be wise and still always to make the back up.
Of course there are many others tutorial that you can find. It including learn to use the Bluetooth, WI-Fi, set the alarm, or just understanding the phone’s keys and parts like the one that we shared on the image above.

If you are an Android lover, it might be a little disappointed about the version of Android runs on Xperia P. It currently only uses Android Gingerbread Operating System aka Android OS v2.3. As you might knew, the latest version of Android is Ice cream sandwich 4.0. Although, it also mentioned that this phone are planned to be upgraded to v4.0
For the hardware, there is 1GB RAM with 16GB internal storage available on this phone. It ready up to 13GB user available. The RAM works with Dual core 1GHz Cortex A9 Processor with Mali-400 GPU and NovaThor U8500 Chipset.
And for the photography features, this XPeria P shouldn’t be questioned. There is 8 Megapixel camera ready to be used to create HD Video up to 1080p@30fps or capture you best moment thru image capture (up to 3264 x 2448 pixels). LED Flash, auto and touch focus, face and smile detector, 3D sweep panorama, image stabilizer, geo-tagging are ready to accompanied and assist the camera. Video calling? No problem. There is a VGA camera on the front facing are waiting to be used.
For data networks? We would just said that the phone supports for GSM technology for EDGE, GPRS, and 3G HSDPA or HSUPA. The HSDPA up to 14.4 Mbps and HSUP up to 5.76Mbps. It might be vary though depend on the carrier and region. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi portable hotspot, DLAN, USB version 2.0 also available on ths XPeria P.

What you going to do in the first hand you own this Xperia P. It is of course you must know how to assemble each parts before you can turn on the phone for the first time.
