Sony Xperia Z Ultra comes with IP58 certified, which means this smartphone acquired dust and water proof. If you use the Z Ultra under the water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes, there would be no problem at all. All the functions will work normally. This series has some difference series name depend on the supported data network technology.
There is Sony Xperia Z Ulta C6802. There is Sony Xperia Z Ulta C6806. And there is Sony Xperia Z Ulta C6833. C6802 doesn’t support for 4G LTE, but the C6806 and C6833 do support 4G LTE although in difference supported frequency. The C6806 supports 700 / 850 / 900/ 1700 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600 MHz LTE, in the other hand C6833 supports 800 / 850 / 900 / 1700 / 1800 / 1900 / 2100 / 2600 MHz 4G LTE frequency. All of them support GSM 850 / 900/ 1800/ 1900 MHz and HSDPA 850/ 900 / 1700 / 1900 / 2100 Mhz. Sony Xperia Z Ultra C6802/C6806/C6833 Specifications
The Display of Sony XPeria Z Ultra is equipped with shatter proof and scratch resistant glass and has triluminos display. The Full HD display make the screen get about 344 ppi pixel density which means the display absolutely sharp. It supports up to 10 fingers touch.
The Xperia Z Ultra runs on Android Jelly Bean version 4.2 with powerful quad-core 2.2 GHz Krait 400 processor and has Qualcomm MSM8274 Snapdragon 800 chipset (some other version uses MSM8974). For the Graphic processor it uses Adreno 330. You can have the Z Ultra in three color options: Black, White, and Purple.
Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, microUSB, Wi-Fi Direct,DLNA, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Stereo FM, are some others features available on the Xperia Z Ultra. There is an external microSD slot for up to 64GB that you can use the expand the 16GB internal memory. It has 2GB RAM.
For the photography specs, Sony decided to choose the 8 Megapixel camera as it main rear camera along with geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, image stabilization, HDR, and HD video recording up to 1080p@30fps. Unfortunately, it seems this rear facing 8MP camera did not have a LED flash light. There is a 2 Megapixel camera on the front side that capable also to record HD 1080p@30fps video.
