As long as I know, LG G Pad 8.3 is the first Tablet devices from LG Manufacturer that runs on Android Jelly Bean Operating System. It’s has 8.3 inches diagonally diameter display with 1200 x 1920 pixels resolution. The Android JB OS is Android version 4.2.2. This tablet is also known as LG G Pad 8.3 V500. This tablet does not support SIM card.

This LG G Pad 8.3 is available in two casing colors: Black and White. The Full HD 8.3″ display uses IPS LCD Capacitive touchscreen with 16M colors and acquired 273 pixels density (ppi). The screen supports multi touch input up to 10 fingers. For the body of the tablet, it has 216.8mm x 126.5mm x 8.3mm (H X W x D). It’s about 8.54″ x 4.98″ x 0.33″ (in inches)

Turn LG G Pad 8.3 Off > Press and hold Power keys and Volume down key > LG Logo appears; Release Power keys and keep Volume Down key > And then immediately press and hold Power key + Volume key at the same time; keep pressing volume down key > Factory hard reset screen shows; release all key > Press Power key to confirm > Press once more > Device will perform Factory reset.

Eventhough there is no SIM card slot on this tablet, which means you can’t use the LG G Pad 8.3 to connect to the Internet via GMS / CDMA data network, but you can still have the Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n type for the alternative Internet connection. It’s dual-band Wi-Fi at 2.4GHz and 5GHz. The tablet supports DLNA and Wi-Fi Direct.

You can uses the lG G Pad 8.3 as a remote control for TV or BlueRay Player or anything that uses infrared connection for its control, because the LG V500 tablet has infrared port along with Bluetooth connection (version 4.0 LE) and also USB with slimPort microUSB v2.0.

The Android Jelly Bean v4.2.2 works together with powerful quad-core 1.7GHz Krait 300 processor (CPU) with 2GB of RAM. For the chipset, the LG G Pad 8.2 is installed with Qualcomm APQ8064 Pro Snapdragon 600 and has Adreno 320 for the GPU. You can store any files, documents, photos on the 16GB internal memory storage. If you’re still not enough, there is microSD card slot ready for up to 64GB external storage.

The tablet is powered by Lithium Polymer battery with 4600mAh capacity. This non-removable battery can give the tablet for live usage up to 8 hours for video playing and up to 7 hours for internet connection under Wi-Fi connectivity. Along with this battery, the LG G Pa 8.3 weighs 338 grams.

There are dual-camera installed on LG G Pad. 5 Megapixel Camera for the main rear camera that has autofocus feature along with geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, image stabilization and can be used to record Full HD 1080p@30fps video recording, and for the front facing camera as secondary camera has 1.3MP resolution with 720p video record.
