Samsung SM-G730A is Samsung Galaxy S3 mini that specially designed for AT&T Carrier. The good thing of Galaxy S3 mini for AT&T is that this device is equipped with NFC technology, in which on others version of Galaxy S3 mini (GT-I1819), it wasn’t included. Along with AT&T carrier, this SM-G730A also supports 4G LTE network technology for high speed data connection.

Under AT&T networks, the Galaxy S3 mini works on GSM quad-band 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 Mhz, UMTS (HSDPA) tri-band 850 / 1900 / 2100 Mhz and also 4G LTE band 4, 17, 2, 5 Mhz. As the mini version of Galaxy S3, the SM-G730A comes with 4.0 inches display size (smaller than SGS3). The display uses Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 16M color depth and 480 x 800 pixels resolution. It’s about 233 ppi pixel density.

Even though Galaxy S3 mini SM-G730A is bundled with AT&T carrier, in which usually the phone has already inserted with AT&T SIM card, but for this device, you might need manually on inserting the SIM Card of AT&T Carrier.

On the inside, the Galaxy S3 mini for AT&T is installed with 1.2GHz dual-core processor with NovaThor U8420 chipset (Cortex-A9) and Mali-400 as its GPU. It runs on Jelly Bean Android Operating System. The Jelly Bean OS uses Android version 4.2.

As a touch-bar form factor phone, the 4″ display of SM-G730A is framed on 4.77″ x 2.46″ x 0.39″ (inches) dimension size and has 3.97 ounces along with its battery. The battery uses removable Lithium-ion with 3.8Volt and 2000mAh capacity. From full charged battery, you can use your Galaxy S3 mini for up to 11 hours under 4G, 9 hours under 3G network, and up to 13 hours under Wi-Fi connection.

Galaxy S3 mini just like the older brother also supports microSD external card. The external memory card slot can be used up to 64GB. And for the internal memory, unfortunately it only has 8GB ROM, and has 1GB RAM. The SM-G730A has 0.711W/kg SAR Value Head, and 1.552W/kg for SAR Value Body.

On the front side, the SGS3 mini has VGA camera and on the rear side the device is embedded with 5 Megapixel camera with LED Flash light. There are geo-tagging, face detection, smile detection, touch focus, and auto focus. The 5MP camera is able to record HD 720p@30fps video recording.

There are Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n with dual-band, supports DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth version 4.0 with A2DP, LE and EDR, has NFC, and also microUSB v2.0. Along with the Android OS, the SGS3 mini is installed with TouchWiz UI, and also has geomagnetic, sensor, has Smart Gestures features, and more.
